Terms of service

These Terms of Service outline the agreement between Tiny Tails Pet Care (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the Client (“you”, “your”) for the provision of pet sitting and home visit services.
1. Services Provided
Tiny Tails Pet Care provides care for small animals, reptiles, birds, and other suitable pets through home visits, feeding, cleaning, enrichment, and welfare checks as agreed in advance.
All services will be carried out according to the care instructions provided by the Client at the time of booking.
2. Booking and payment
All bookings must be confirmed in writing (email, text, or booking form).
A 25% deposit may be required to secure bookings during peak times.
Full payment is due before or on the first day of service.
Payment can be made by bank transfer, or other agreed method.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a 50% charge.
No refunds will be issued once a service has commenced.
In the unlikely event that we must cancel, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.
4. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate, up-to-date care information for each pet.
Ensure your home is safe and accessible at the agreed times.
Supply sufficient food, bedding, and equipment for the duration of the booking.
Inform us of any medical issues, behavioural concerns, or risks related to your pets.
5. Emergencies and Veterinary Care
In the event of illness or injury, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you immediately.
If you cannot be reached, we will act in your pet’s best interest and may contact your registered vet or an emergency veterinary service.
You agree to cover any veterinary costs incurred during our care, unless caused by our proven negligence.
6. Health and Safety
We will not sit for pets showing signs of contagious disease unless agreed in advance.
For everyone’s safety, we reserve the right to refuse or discontinue care if a pet displays aggressive or unsafe behaviour.
7. Liability
We are fully insured for pet sitting and key holding. We also hold a basic DBS certificate.
While every reasonable precaution will be taken, Tiny Tails Pet Care cannot be held liable for loss, injury, illness, or death of any pet, except in cases of proven negligence.
We are not liable for damage to property caused by pets during our care.
8. Access and Security
Client keys or access codes will be kept securely and never labelled with your address.
Keys will be returned at the end of service or retained with your permission for future bookings.
9. Use of Photos and Social Media
With your consent, we may take photos or short videos of your pets during visits.
These may be shared on Tiny Tails Pet Care’s social media pages, website, or marketing materials to showcase our work and celebrate our furry, scaly, or feathered friends.
We will never post identifiable information such as addresses, schedules, or client names.
You may withdraw consent for photo use at any time in writing.
10. Privacy
We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected will be used only for managing your bookings and will not be shared without consent.
11. Agreement
By booking our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service, including the section on social media use (unless you opt out in writing).
